- Constancio Arnaldo is the recipient of a 2011 LAS Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching by Graduate Teaching Assistants. Arnaldo is a Ph.D. student in Anthropology. He has served as a Teaching Assistant for AAS 100 Intro to Asian American Studies since Fall 2008.
- The Conrad Humanities Scholar designation supports the work of exceptionally promising associate professors in humanities within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Professor Manalansan's designation is effective beginning 2010-11 academic year and continuing through 2014-15 academic year.
