In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Department of Asian American Studies at Illinois, three scholarships of $1000 each are being made available to outstanding students in Asian American Studies.
These scholarships have been established through the generosity of an illustrious Asian American alumnus, Mr. Horace Wu, and his wife Kate King Wu in honor of Horace Wu’s father, Ying Fan Wu, an Asian American who attended the University of Illinois in the 1930s.
These undergraduate awards are for the 2018‐2019 academic year. You must have at least one semester left after this current academic year to qualify. Deadline: March 9, 2018, 4:30pm Central. Selection is based upon various criteria that may include: Academic Achievement, Financial Need, Leadership, and Personal Statement.
